Our Services At Baldivis Maternity Clinic
Shared antenatal care for your entire pregnancy
Shared antenatal care at Baldivis Maternity Clinic provides expectant mothers with the best of both worlds: the convenience and personalized care of a private clinic, combined with the expertise and resources of a hospital.
Postnatal care including midwife home visits for patients living locally
At Baldivis Maternity Clinic, we understand that the postnatal period can be challenging for new mothers. That’s why we offer comprehensive postnatal care, including midwife home visits for local patients. Our team of experienced midwives will provide you with the support and guidance you need to navigate the early days and weeks of motherhood, including breastfeeding support, advice on infant care, and help with any concerns or questions you may have.
Iron Infusions
During pregnancy, iron needs increase to support the growth and development of the baby, and many women may develop iron deficiency anemia. Our iron infusions provide a quick and convenient way to replenish iron levels and support overall health. Contact us today to learn more and schedule your infusion.
CTG monitoring in late pregnancy
CTG monitoring in late pregnancy at Baldivis Maternity Clinic is a safe and non-invasive way to monitor the well-being of both mother and baby during labour. CTG, or cardiotocography, is a technique that uses sensors to monitor the baby’s heart rate and the mother’s contractions.
Bedside ultrasound in early pregnancy
Bedside ultrasound in early pregnancy at Baldivis Maternity Clinic is a safe and painless way to confirm your pregnancy and monitor the health and development of your baby. Using advanced ultrasound technology, our team of experienced sonographers can provide detailed images of your baby, allowing us to track their growth and check for any potential problems.
Antenatal classes
Antenatal classes at Baldivis Maternity Clinic are designed to provide expectant mothers with the knowledge and skills they need to have a safe and healthy pregnancy, birth, and postnatal period. Our classes are taught by experienced midwives and other healthcare professionals, and cover a wide range of topics, including pregnancy and childbirth, infant care, breastfeeding, and postnatal recovery.
Breastfeeding classes
Breastfeeding classes at Baldivis Maternity Clinic are designed to provide expectant and new mothers with the knowledge and skills they need to successfully breastfeed their baby. Our classes are taught by experienced lactation consultants and other healthcare professionals, and cover a wide range of topics, including the benefits of breastfeeding, how to establish and maintain a good milk supply, and how to deal with common challenges and concerns.
Routine pregnancy and childhood immunisations
Routine pregnancy and childhood immunisations at Baldivis Maternity Clinic help protect both mother and baby from potentially serious diseases. Immunisations are an important part of preventative healthcare and can help prevent the spread of illness in the community. During pregnancy, we offer immunisations against influenza and whooping cough, which can harm the baby. We offer a range of immunisations for children according to the recommended schedule.

We are a small team of midwives, GPs and GP obstetricians who are passionate about delivering high-quality and personalised care for your pregnancy and the postpartum period.
Our team will look after you from conception, through your entire pregnancy and for the first 6 weeks after you give birth. We provide shared care with Rockingham General Hospital, Fiona Stanley Hospital and King Edward Memorial Hospital.
Several team members also work in the labour and maternity ward at Rockingham General Hospital.
Most importantly, our midwives and doctors provide care and support in the vulnerable postnatal period. Our midwives can visit you and your newborn in your home if you live locally. In addition, midwife Zoe is a qualified lactation consultant and can provide specialised breastfeeding assessments and advice.
Our GPs and GP obstetricians also provide general health care in women’s health, men’s health, children’s health, immunisations, family planning, mental health, preventative health and chronic disease. Our GPs insert contraceptive implants (Implanon) and intrauterine contraceptive devices (Mirena, Kyleena, Copper) and Dr Essa Rasool perform scalpel-free vasectomies under local anaesthetic.
